The Beach House Inn

The location for my husband and I was perfect as we are avid walkers. However, if you are not a walker, you will need transportation into town, which is approximately 1.5 mi. If you are a beach bum this is the place as there are two fantastic beaches in walking distance. The facility has an elevator, and every single coffee type imaginable 24 hours a day. We stayed in the Queen Ocean view, the bed was very comfortable, however, I wished it was on the opposite wall so I could actually see the ocean from bed. Lovely old Inn in a fabulous location next to the beach. Delightful sitting room and coffee on offer, as well as use of bikes and easy parking. Our room was large and very comfortable.

Location is excellent, right on the beach. Room was clean and modern. They have bikes and beach chairs you can use and nice seating outside facing the beach. Coffee and tea available all day. It looked like you could buy wine and beer there from a price list I saw on the counter, but I did not ask. They have a cute gift shop as well. There are not really any restaurants or stores within close walking distance.

There is no breakfast - which is fine, as I prefer my own organic oatmeal - which is easy to prepare on premises. Love the location across from the ocean with ample walking options, short drives to conservation areas and other shorelines. Staff is so professional and helpful.

Very quaint setting and loved the ocean being right in front of the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, great shower, and very clean overall. We sat on the porch to see the sun rise and the common gathering rooms were very nice. We drove up the coastline which was wild and beautiful. We would recommend this hotel to our friends.
